Google Slides has a large shortcut list because it covers three contexts — editing, the filmstrip on the left, and presenting — and the same key can mean different things in each. The rows follow Google's grouping. Everything is the Windows/Chrome OS keymap; on macOS substitute Cmd for Ctrl.

Ctrl + M adds a new slide and Ctrl + D duplicates the current one. In the filmstrip, Ctrl + Up and Ctrl + Down move a slide, and Ctrl + Shift + Up and Ctrl + Shift + Down send it to the start or end. Ctrl + Alt + Shift + S opens the speaker notes panel and Ctrl + Alt + Shift + B the animations panel. Formatting travels between text boxes or shapes with Ctrl + Alt + C to pick it up and Ctrl + Alt + V to apply it — Slides' version of a format painter.
Pressing Tab (or Shift + Tab backwards) walks the selection from shape to shape, so an object buried under another one can be reached without moving anything. Ctrl + Alt + G groups and Ctrl + Alt + Shift + G ungroups. Rotation is on the arrow keys with Alt: Alt + Left and Alt + Right turn by fifteen degrees, and adding Shift — Alt + Shift + Left — turns by one. Ctrl + ] and Ctrl + [ change indent in text, and Ctrl + \ clears formatting from the selection.
Ctrl + F5 starts presenting from the current slide. Once presenting, Right and Left move between slides, S opens speaker notes in a separate window, L toggles the laser pointer and A opens audience tools for live Q&A. Ctrl + Shift + C turns on automatic captions, which are generated from your microphone. Escape leaves the presentation. When you forget a key, Ctrl + / shows the shortcut list inside Slides.
Ctrl + F5. The Present button starts from the current slide as well; the menu offers "from beginning".
Alt + Shift + Left or Right rotates by one degree. Without Shift the step is fifteen degrees.
Press Ctrl + Shift + C while presenting. Captions are generated from your microphone in supported languages.
Some keys are context-specific: filmstrip shortcuts need the filmstrip focused (Ctrl + Alt + Shift + F), and presenting keys only work in present mode.
