FigJam keyboard shortcuts for Windows and Mac

FigJam shortcuts for Windows and Mac, each taken from an article in Figma's help center; Figma keeps its own list in the in-app panel that Ctrl + Shift + ? opens, and the iPad app is left out. Most creation tools are single letters (S places a sticky note). Mac mostly swaps Ctrl for Cmd and Alt for Option, and the table keys work once a cell is selected with Ctrl + Alt + Space.

Figma's general keyboard article gives Ctrl + Shift + ? for the shortcuts panel on Windows; FigJam's own selection article prints Alt + Shift + ? instead.

Figma's accessibility article names Ctrl + K (Cmd + K) for the Actions menu of Figma files; the FigJam articles use Ctrl + / or Ctrl + P, and in a comment Ctrl + K adds a link.

Notes

Tools on one key

S is a sticky note, T text, R a square and O an ellipse (the other shapes have no key), L a straight connector and X or Shift + L a bent one; C switches to comment mode and E opens the stamp and emote wheel. Press the letter, then click on the board to place the object. Connectors and the drawing tools stay active after each use until you press Esc or pick another tool, such as the select tool on V.

Canvas keys from Figma

Zoom to fit (Shift + 1), zoom to selection (Shift + 2), group (Ctrl + G), duplicate (Ctrl + D) and undo (Ctrl + Z) are the same as in Figma design files, so anyone from Figma has the rest of the whiteboard already. Holding Space pans, Ctrl + Scroll zooms with the mouse wheel, and Shift + Arrow keys nudges a selection in bigger steps than the arrow keys alone.

Facilitating

Sections (Shift + S) group content into labelled regions, and cursor chat (/) and high fives (hold H) are for live sessions. The timer, music and voting open from their button in the upper right corner, not from a key, but once the timer is open the arrow keys set it and Enter starts it. Ctrl + Shift + ? opens the shortcut panel, which keeps a list of the keys inside the app.
