Warp treats every command and its output as a block, and most of its shortcuts act on blocks rather than lines — select one, copy its output, re-run it — which is the part that feels new. The command editor underneath uses ordinary readline keys. The table is the macOS keymap, where Warp started; the Linux and Windows builds map Cmd to Ctrl and Ctrl to Ctrl + Shift in most cases.

Cmd + UP and Cmd + DOWN select the previous and next block, Shift + UP and Shift + DOWN extend the selection, and Cmd + A selects them all. With a block selected, Shift + Cmd + C copies just the command, Alt + Shift + Cmd + C copies just the output, and Cmd + I puts the command back into the editor to run again — the block equivalent of history recall. Cmd + B bookmarks a block so Alt + UP and Alt + DOWN can jump between bookmarks in a long session. Cmd + K clears the blocks from view.
Ctrl + R searches command history, as in a shell, with a richer picker. Ctrl + Shift + R opens Workflows, Warp's saved parameterised commands. Cmd + P opens the Command Palette for any Warp action and Cmd + O searches files in the current directory. CTRL-` is Generate: describe what you want in plain language and Warp writes the shell command into the editor for review. Cmd + L returns focus to the terminal input from anywhere.
The command editor accepts the usual readline keys — Ctrl + A and Ctrl + E for line start and end, Ctrl + C to clear it — plus editor-style ones such as Ctrl + G to add a cursor at the next occurrence of the selection and Cmd + BACKSPACE to delete everything to the left. Cmd + D splits the pane to the right. Ctrl + I "warpifies" a subshell such as an SSH session so blocks and completions keep working inside it.
Select the block (Cmd + UP until it is highlighted) and press Alt + Shift + Cmd + C. Shift + Cmd + C copies the command instead.
Select its block and press Cmd + I to put it back in the editor, or use Ctrl + R history search.
Ctrl + I sets up Warp's block and completion features inside a subshell such as ssh or docker exec, which otherwise run as plain text.
