Navisworks is a model review tool rather than a modelling tool, so its shortcuts are about moving through a large federated model and switching navigation modes quickly. Nearly everything is Ctrl plus a number or letter, and the TimeLiner grid has its own spreadsheet-style keys. The table follows Autodesk's reference for Navisworks Manage and Simulate.

Ctrl + 1 through Ctrl + 9 switch the navigation mode: Ctrl + 1 select, Ctrl + 2 walk, Ctrl + 3 look around, Ctrl + 4 zoom, Ctrl + 6 pan, Ctrl + 7 orbit and Ctrl + 9 fly. Ctrl + 0 turns on turntable mode for a rotating presentation view. Within walk and fly, Ctrl + G toggles gravity and Ctrl + D collision, which together turn a walkthrough from floating through walls into a realistic site walk. Page Up zooms to show everything and Page Down zooms to the selection; Home returns to the saved home view.
Ctrl + F opens Quick Find for locating an element by property, and Esc clears the selection. Ctrl + H hides the selected items and Ctrl + R makes them "required" so they stay visible when the model is culled for performance. Ctrl + A appends a model file to the current scene — the federation step — and Ctrl + M merges one; Ctrl + I inserts from file. Ctrl + L locks the pivot point so orbiting stays centred on the element under review.
In the TimeLiner grid, F2 edits the selected field, Left and Right move between fields, and Home and End select the first and last row, with Shift extending and Ctrl moving the current row without changing the selection — the same conventions as a spreadsheet. In the Measure Tools panel, X, Y and Z lock a measurement to an axis, P and L lock perpendicular or parallel to a surface, and Enter zooms to the measured area.
Turn on collision with Ctrl + D while in walk or fly mode; add gravity with Ctrl + G to stay on the floor.
Page Up zooms to fit all objects; Page Down zooms to the current selection.
Ctrl + R marks selected items as required, so they are never dropped when Navisworks culls geometry to keep navigation smooth.
With the Measure tool active, press X, Y or Z to lock the measurement to that axis.
