Go to Gmail Settings (gear icon) → See all settings → General tab → Keyboard shortcuts → select "Keyboard shortcuts on" → Save Changes.
Press C to compose a new email in Gmail (keyboard shortcuts must be enabled first).
Press E to archive the selected email in Gmail. This removes it from your inbox without deleting it.
