Ctrl + B splits the selected clip at the playhead — CapCut's choice of key, where Premiere uses Ctrl + K and Final Cut uses Cmd + B — and Delete removes the selection, leaving a gap unless the setting to close gaps automatically is on. Ctrl + D duplicates a clip after itself, and any of it can be reversed with Ctrl + Z or redone with Ctrl + Y.
