How do you deselect in Photoshop?
Ctrl + D — Deselect
Press Ctrl + D (Cmd + D on Mac) to drop the current selection. Ctrl + Shift + D reselects it afterwards, and Ctrl + Shift + I inverts it instead of clearing it.
