How do you add a new page quickly in Canva?
Ctrl + Enter — Add Page
Press Ctrl + Enter (Cmd + Enter on Mac) to add a new page directly below the current one in the Canva editor; it is the same as the plus button between pages, without scrolling to find it.

Adding and moving between pages
Ctrl + Enter inserts a page after the current one and puts focus on it, so you can keep pressing it to lay out a multi-page document without touching the mouse. Page navigation in the editor is by scrolling or by clicking the page thumbnails in the grid view; Canva does not publish a next-page key, and the duplicate-page action lives in the page toolbar (the copy icon) rather than on a keystroke. Ctrl + D duplicates the selected element, not the page.
Layers on a page
The layer questions that usually follow — bring forward, send back, select the element underneath — are Ctrl + ] and Ctrl + [ for one step, Ctrl + Alt + ] and Ctrl + Alt + [ for front and back, and the Layers panel under Position for anything more precise. Grouping is Ctrl + G and locking a finished element so a new page does not disturb it is Alt + Shift + L.
Which keys are documented
Canva lists its shortcuts in an in-app panel (press ?) and on a help-centre article, and both are the source for the Canva reference on this site; the Mac keys substitute Cmd for Ctrl throughout. The editor also has text keys that only apply while a text box is being edited — Ctrl + B, Ctrl + I, Ctrl + Shift + K for capitals — which the reference page groups separately from the page and element keys so the two sets do not get confused.
